What is Grin and Win?
“You only live once, but if you live right, once is enough.” As a high school student, this is the motto our mom decided she would live by. She approached every day with a fierce, competitive spirit and a smile on her face, showing us that hard work and a positive, never-give-up attitude are the keys to ‘living right’.
When Mom was 18, she had the goal of attending Lehigh University to further her education and play field hockey and lacrosse. However, she did not have the financial means to achieve this goal on her own. Thankfully, she was able to obtain financial aid, grants, and scholarships so that she could make her goal a reality. These scholarship funds would not have been available without the financial support of generous people who wanted to make a difference in the lives of others.
Now it’s our opportunity to help a hard working Lehigh student athlete achieve her goal, and we need your help!
This year is our 5th Annual Cheryl Miller Flamini memorial fundraising event. Please help us celebrate our mom and her competitive, positive spirit on Thursday May 31, 2018 at Wichita Country Club.
12:30pm Golf Shotgun start
2:00pm Tennis starts
4:30pm Reception -- please join us whether you can play or not!
Thanks to everyone's generous contributions, the Cheryl Miller Flamini scholarship was awarded again last year. Our exciting news this year is that our inaugural scholarship recipient will graduate in May with a Computer Science and Business major. We wish her continued success as an investment banker and wherever else her life journey takes her. Please help us as we prepare to support a new incoming Lehigh freshman student athlete achieve her goal. Once selected, the Cheryl Miller Flamini scholarship will be awarded to her through her senior year.
We hope to continue the success of prior tournaments and would love to see you there! You can make a donation (whether or not you decide to participate in the event), play golf or tennis, or sponsor a hole. All donations are tax deductible.
Thank you for your generosity and support,
Trevor, Jake and Talia
